Player Dress Code - Games

The following equipment is required for participation in scheduled recreational games:

IMPORTANT! A reminder to coaches and parents: absolutely no jewelry is allowed during practices or match play. This includes earrings, bracelets, necklaces, watches, Fitbits, rings, leather bands, rubber wrist bands, etc.

Required Components:

1. Jersey
2. Athletic shorts - no shorts containing metal/plastic buttons or other parts are allowed.
3. Shin Guards - must be secured in place.
4. Socks - Must completely cover shin guards! Cannot be worn under and folded over shin guards. Players may wear two pairs of socks - one under and one over the shin guards.
5. Shoes/Cleats - no metal spikes, must be appropriately secured.

Optional clothing instructions:

1. Eye-wear: Prescription glasses are allowed. Paris United FC strongly encourages that prescription eye-wear be secured by an appropriate strap. Sports goggles are also allowed: Paris United FC defines a sports goggles as protective eye-wear that contains no metal components, and is secured by an appropriate or built-in strap
2. Absolutely NO jewelry is allowed during play. This includes earrings, bracelets, necklaces, watches, fitbits, rings, leather bands, rubber bands, hair clips, bobby pins, etc. or any other item deemed unsafe by the officials.
3. Any garment with a hood, tassels, draw-strings, or any other hanging or exposed component deemed unsafe by the officials must be either securely tucked-in or removed before the player takes the field.
4. Long sleeve undergarments, including leggings, shirts, etc. Must be predominantly black (or a DARK color) or match the jersey color for the current game (exceptions may be made in the event of sudden weather changes)
5. Pants may be worn whenever necessary. Must be predominantly black (or a DARK color) or match the jersey color for the player's current game (white or blue). Socks must still be worn, and completely cover shin guards.
6. Exceptions to undergarment color may be made if a player is filling in, or subbing for, a team other than their originally assigned team on game days.
